SaveMoney mainstay Towkio follows up last year's cerebral .Wav Theory by dropping his Community Service 2! EP today (July 8).

The seven-track offering runs lean and features guest bars from Joey Purp and Vic Mensa, both of whom have dropped their own mixtapes this year as well. Production on the EP is handled by bass-knockers like Smoko Ono, Peter Cottontale, Mr. Carmack, Garren, Kenny Segal. The subject matter on Towkio's new project ranges from dominating his rap competition ("Playin' Fair") to mourning the deaths of victims of violence in Chicago and America at large ("Tear Drop"). The vibe of Towkio's project definitely adds to the music for the movement as America deals with more cases of police brutality this summer, specific the recent deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile this past week.

The unorthodox MC has laid relatively low in the past year, working with mainly his SaveMoney affiliates and touring the U.S. with Chance The Rapper. He has a set at Coachella ans was spotted working with famed record producer Rick Rubin in the last few months. Although .Wav Theory is considered his breakthrough, not to mention one of the best tapes of last year, Community Service 2! official turns Tow's mixtapes into a series since he dropped the first Community Service back in 2013. SaveMoney fans can snag the Community Service 2! for themselves on iTunes now for 99 cents each or $6.93 in total. The project is also available to stream on Apple Music. Peep the tracklist below.
