Shy Glizzy just dropped off a new record called "You Know What" from his new Young Jefe 2 tape dropping tonight (July 14). Premiering the track on Zane Lowe's Apple Music channel, the Radio 1 exclusive shows off the Glizzy Gang leader's signature flow over a woozy Austin Millz-produced beat.

“You know what?/Your ass too lame so I’m sorry you can’t sit with us/You know what?/Yeah, she know my name, see my chain. She goin’s give it up/You know what?/These bitches want a problem?/We goin’ solve it when I finish up/You know what?/I came from the bottom, still mobbin’, I ain’t givin’ up/They say that I’m a menace to society/Come and get a trace seven where you find me/Still mad they couldn’t sign me/Mad that they old now, need to be retiring/See, first all I wanted was a new car/And then I spent that new car on a new watch/You can ask my whole hood do I run the block/It still ain’t hit me that my nigga Mari got shot,” raps the D.C. representative in the first verse.

Shy Glizzy's promo for his new tape has been strategic, stealthy and swift. The former XXL Freshman dropped the cover art for the project last week and told fans the new music was coming Friday, July 15. Young Jefe 2 will serve as the follow up to Glizzy’s 2014 tape of the same name. Be on the lookout for a tracklist and the full offering dropping tonight on Apple Music.
