In case anybody was in the mood for some throwback flows as smooth as silk, Tim Westwood reaches into his bag of unreleased goodies for yet another unheard freestyle, this time from New York rap legends Mase and Guru. Mase shines on the eight-plus minute track, with the timing of the drop coinciding perfectly with the recent Baseball Hall of Fame inductions.

During the free, which can be heard above, Mase raps, "If you want to want to get dough, you got to get me / Feel lonely unless I got my women with me / And they know I got more hits than Ken Griffey / So big I make a mill even if they gip me."  He as well flaunts with such flash, it's a reminder how pristine his bars used to be. "Oh no you got to get your chips straight / Half these cats only hot on a mixtape / Only loved in six states / I’m the other 46 / Probably could hit any effin shorty they with," he spits.

Last week Westwood unleashed a Big Boi freestyle from 2004, and in previous weeks, his throwbacks have included freestyles from Jay Z, Cam’ron, The Fugees, and Method Man and Redman, the two showcasing the same chemistry that went into their first joint album Blackout! overtop Pharoahe Monch’s “Simon Says” and Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.”  for 25 minutes.

Catch the heat up top with Guru's lyrical skills never forgotten. Blinky Blink joins the two in the clip up above as well.
