Ariane is ready to throw her first listening party and talks to K. Michelle about it. While K. Michelle wants to be supportive, she appears less than enthused about Ariane's sudden plunge into the world of music, but decides to take a wait-and-see approach before coming to a final judgement.

Rasheeda throws a house warming in celebration of her and Kirk's new home, which Ernest and Mama Dee attend as guests. Mama Dee apologizes to Shirlene about her attitude in the past, but lets Ernest know that he's not out of the doghouse himself and that she still expects him to step up and be the provider for their family.

Stevie J meets up with Joseline to discuss the friction in their relationship, and Stevie J feels that Joseline hasn't been playing the part of a wife and has been more of a burden than a blessing to him as of late. Joseline expects Stevie J to apologize for his past mistakes, but instead he confronts her about the rumors she's been spreading about him. She doesn't deny her involvement in Stevie J's recent troubles, which prompts him to walk away from the table with every intention of showing Joseline that he's still the boss in their relationship. But not before Joseline lets Stevie know she doesn't love him anymore.

Mama Dee puts on a live performance alongside Young Joc. Scrappy attends the event as a sign of support for his mother. Betty Idol has made a good impression on Mama Dee, but Scrappy insists that Bambi is the woman of his dreams and that he intends to be with her. While Mama Dee is a bit perturbed that Scrappy has decided to pursue another relationship with Bambi, she respects his wishes nonetheless.

KK King and Tiarra meet up for King's birthday party, but things start off on the wrong foot when Tiarra shows up with J. Nicks in tow, which upsets KK King, who insists that J. Nicks leave and not be a part of the party. J. Nicks chooses to respect KK King's wishes and leaves, while KK, Tiarra, and Sass help King enjoy his party. Although his father (Scrapp) is incarcerated and can't be present for the party, King gets a phone call from him. Scrapp expresses his love for his son before urging him to play and enjoy his special day.

Stevie J and Mimi catch up for the first time since discussing their child support agreement, but Stevie J has put his issues to the side and opens up to Mimi about his problems with Joseline. While Mimi sympathizes with Stevie J, she refuses to be romantically involved with him and urges him to keep his business and personal relationships separated in the future.

Scrappy has decided to go full-throttle in his attempt to win Bambi back into his life and has garnered the support of Kirk, Rasheeda, Mama Dee, Ernest, Tammy, Young Joc, and the rest of their friends. In a twist of fate, Scrappy gets on his knees and proposes to Bambi, who accepts his proposal, making for one of the more emotional moments of this season's Love & Hip-Hop.

Tommie has taken stock of her life and has made the decision to see a therapist to talk about her current issues. She discloses her dependency on alcohol and admits that her strained relationship with Scrapp has taken a toll on her, as well as her tumultuous childhood. Tommie also expresses her desire to be a better person and lead a more successful life, ending the therapy session with considerable progress made in her attempt to turn over a new leaf.

The night of Ariane's listening party all of her close friends are in attendance and surprised at the quality of her music. The festivities are elegant all of the patrons are enjoying themselves, but things take a turn when Joseline and Dawn step into the party, instantly altering the mood of the room. Mimi Faust and Joseline begin to bicker back and forth, causing a fight to occur between the two former buddies. As the two are separated, they both spew their hatred for each other, making it evident that a reconciliation between the two is unlikely to ever occur. Mimi also confronts Ariane about her decision to invite Joseline to the party knowing the bad blood between the two rivals.

With the fifth season of Love And Hip-Hop Atlanta coming to a close, the cast members give the viewers updates on what they have going on for themselves in the present, as well as their future endeavors. Karlie Redd is on top of her game and has plans to pursue her career in fashion and as a woman and has put her relationship with Lyfe in back of her. Tammy says that her and Waka Flocka are taking a break to sort out their differences

Mimi Faust has weathered the storms of life and love and has dreams of being an interior designer and has put all of the drama of her past behind her. K. Michelle has her focus on her business and music career and remains in opposition of her enemies and striving for personal triumph and greatness.

Mama Dee has also patched up things with Ernest and plans to attempt to make things work out between them in their marriage. KK King continues to be the patriarch of her family and although there are criminal charges pending against her, plans to keep it moving forward.

Tiarra announces that she is pregnant with an unknown man's child and although she has mixed emotions regarding the situation, vows to handle the situation with her usual determination and perseverance in tow. On the other-hand, Joseline still has her sights set on a career in the limelight, while announcing that she's hitting the studio and working with Young Dro. The self proclaimed Puerto Rican Princess vows to enjoy the moment and live life to the fullest.

Stevie J is reveling in the bachelor life now that he's cut ties with Joseline and Mimi and is excited to take his career to another plateau. With all of the shenanigans the cast has subjected us to over the course of this past season, hearing that the cast members are content and hopeful for the future may stun some, but shows that all isn't what it seems in the world of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
