Each fall, New Yorkers are treated to a free-ticketed concert event in Central Park hosted by Global Citizen, who emphasize humanitarian work on a global scale. Posting to Instagram today, the concert organizers revealed that Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna will be headlining, with additional performances by Usher, Major Lazer, Yandel and more. Peep the above concert flyer for the full bill, with a video reveal included below.

The news of Kendrick's headlining slot comes just a few days after he delivered a powerful set at New York's Panorama Festival. He mixed in tracks from good kid, m.A.A.d. city, To Pimp a Butterfly and untitled unmastered., giving the festival a proper inaugural year. Just a few weeks prior, K. Dot tore it down at the Essence Festival in New Orleans, and followed that up with a July 4 performance at the White House. Suffice it to say, Lamar is on one heck of a run as far as big stages go.

The 2016 Global Citizens Festival will take place on Sept. 24 with the above caption urging those interested to "Take action now." In 2014, Jay Z headlined the concert event along with The Roots, eventually brining out Beyonce for his night-ending set. Those interested in scoring free tickets should visit the Global Citizens webpage and follow the prompts. Last year's performers included Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay. If Kendrick's set is anything like his recent ones, then it's sure to be a can't miss show.
