The performances at the 2016 VH1 Hip Hop Honors show were on point. Dreezy, Eve, Ashanti and Keke Palmer each provided plenty of entertainment in their respective Salt-N-Pepa tributes yesterday (July 11) in New York City.

Eve kicked things off with a rendition of "Shoop." Next up, Ashanti hit the stage and did her thing with the 1993 smash hit, "Whatta Man." Ashanti is known for her singing skills, but she handled the rapping portions of the song quite well.

Keke Palmer and Dreezy followed up with a performance of Salt-N-Pepa's most famous song, "Push It." Backed by a crew of dancers, Palmer and Dreezy executed their choreographed act to perfection. Their outfits added to the brief performance's overall effect; Palmer rocked a see-through top and black tights, while Dreezy opted for a red varsity jacket and white pants.

The VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens show took place yesterday (July 11) live from NYC at 9 p.m. In case you missed it, be sure to check out Missy Elliott's emotional speech from the event, in which she thanks Salt-N-Pepa for inspiring her to begin rapping.

Also, you can watch Teyana Taylor, Lil Mama, The Lox and French Montana pay tribute to Lil Kim at last night's festivities. Salt-N-Pepa, Elliott and Kim were just a few of the female artists honored at the annual VH1 show, which focused specifically on female artists this year.
