Doughboy is one of the hardest rappers coming out of St. Louis these days, and his "Poppin" record featuring Rich The Kid is a prime example. XXL has the exclusive video premiere, and you can watch it above.

His verse is grounded in local landmarks, reflecting his tight connection to the streets that raised him. "Ice hangin' like an igloo, got me watchin' out my rearview / Hit a hundred down Hall Street, bust a right on Riverview / Fairground on Sunday, tootin' 'cause we got gunplay," raps Doughboy in a spirited, hypnotizing cadence.

Rich The Kid is next, taking the energy up a notch with his near-yelling flow. He can dip in and out of different delivery styles, making his verse a diverse array of techniques. He even mentions Kodak Black, who dissed Rich after the Atlanta rapper was seen on Twitter saying he put the Florida rapper on with a feature on "Plug."

The song is off Doughboy's most recent mixtape Sakrifices 2.5, the followup to the first Sakrifices that dropped in 2015. If you're looking for some dope raps out of the Lou, Doughboy's got you covered. Check the video above.
