Yesterday (July 16), reports came out from TMZ that the release of Tupac's biopic All Eyez on Me was in limbo all because of a dispute between Daz Dillinger and publishing house BMG over a song that was to be used in the film. Today, the Dogg Pound rapper is denying those claims and saying the film is a go.

Taking to Instagram to set the record straight on his behalf, Daz posted a video response. “Just seen that TMZ shit,” he says. “Ain’t nothing derailed about that Tupac All Eyez On Me movie. My homeboy L.T. Hutton, Benny Boom full blast with that motherfucker.”

He captioned the video, "AINT NUTHIN DERAILING NOR STOP'N MY HOMEYZ @lthutton & @bennyboom FROM DROP'N THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME TUPAC ALL EYEZ ON ME BIOPIC B'SIDES."

One of the film's producer's, Hutton, also commented on the report. Reposting Daz's video on IG, he captioned the clip, "ALL GOOD!!! STOP ASKING ME ABOUT NON SENSE PEOPLE WE GOOD. CRAZY PEOPLE BELIEVE ANYTHING!."

TMZ's sources had a different story. According to their report, an argument over the rights for the track "Ambitionz Az a Ridah" had forced the target release date to be pushed back from September to November. The song is set to be used in the film's score but they claimed Daz (who produced the record) and BMG's ownership dispute was the hold up.

Tupac fans can breathe a sigh of relief. All Eyez on Me stars Demetrius Shipp, Jr. as Tupac Shakur and is directed by Benny Boom.
