Danny Brown Finds His Comfort Zone on The Avalanches’ “The Wozard of Iz”

After appearing on a new Avalanches track "Frankie Sinata" a couple weeks ago, Danny Brown returns for another, even better verse on "The Wozard of Iz." You can watch the video above. Sounds like vintage Danny.

The Avalanches released their second album Wildflower last week (July 1) more than 10 years after their critically acclaimed debut album Since I Left You was hailed as a sample-heavy classic. Being out of the game a decade can get you a little out of line, and though some feel like the group is having trouble finding their place in the musical landscape so long after they made a splash, here they hit the groove nicely.
