Earlier this month, Chevy Woods embarked on the High Road summer tour with Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Gates, Jhené Aiko, Casey Veggies and DJ Drama, but that hasn't stopped the Taylor Gang member from keeping the new music rolling, as he does today with "History," a track produced by and featuring Devin Cruise.

The song will be on Chevy's as yet untitled new album, and he describes it as a good "feeling myself" song for the summer. On the hook, Cruise chants, "All my diamonds glistening / All my haters pissed at me / All these ladies kissing me / Tonight gon go down in history / All I know is victory / Finger to my enemies / I got my whole clique with me / Tonight gon go down in history."

Over a Casio keyboard-type beat, Chevy keeps the wins up and the haters down, rapping about the many ways he could make the night amazing. Chevy's last project came in August with his 48 Hunnid Project EP and while his next release is without a drop date, the new material gets poppin' with his latest single.

The High Road tour makes its next stop in Toronto on Friday (July 29) as part of Drake's seventh annual OVO Fest then hits Hartford, Conn. the following night with dates throughout the northeast thereafter. Check out "History" up above, which is premiering exclusively on XXL. It's the type of celebratory anthem perfect for a weekend spent with friends.
