Birdman Is Bringing His Lugz Back

Birdman must be nostalgic for the glory days of Lugz boots. The Cash Money Records CEO went on Instagram today (July 7) to share some pictures of his Lugz from the Birdman collection. The Big Tymers member labeled both of the posts with an exclusive hashtag which might hint at a new release.

At this point, it is not clear whether the Birdman collection is really making a comeback. The New Orleans native may simply be reflecting on the past success of the boot line. And if you really want to rock some Birdman boots, the Lugz website is still selling the Birdman collection.

Outside of the shoe market, much of the recent buzz around Birdman has focused on his possible relationship with singer Toni Braxton. The rumors began back in May when the two were seen together at Braxton’s show in Brooklyn. Since then, Braxton's mother Evelyn added further fuel to the flames when she told The Rickey Smiley Morning Show that she hoped the rumors were true.

"I met [Birdman] years ago. Toni been knowing him... 15 years ago something like that," Evelyn Braxton said the interview. "Ever since I’ve been knowing that man, he’s been phenomenal. So let me say, I hope so."

Birdman and Toni Braxton clearly have the approval of the Braxton family matriarch, but they have still not gone public with their relationship. Previous reports have stated that the couple is trying to keep things quiet despite their status as well known celebrities.
