Three years after Magna Carta Holy GrailJay Z is back with his first dose of new solo music on "spiritual," an emotional song dedicated to victims of police brutality. On it, he flexes a new kind of style that sounds a lot like spoken word. He's also spitting some of the most poignant lyrics he's rapped in years: "Pray your father's father wasn't touching his little daughter/Creating trans-generational trauma, that shit'll haunt ya." Hov is most definitely back in the building.

2016 XXL Freshman Kodak Black, despite still being locked up, was featured on DJ Twin's "Lonely" alongside Sean Kingston. But for all intents and purposes, it's a fucking Kodak song, complete with production from YodaYae1k, the same guy who made the beats for "Today" and "30" off Lil Big Pac. Without a hook, Kodak just spits about riding with as few homies as possible, finding himself while in jail and surviving in the jungle, all over a classic Three Dog Night sample.

Denzel Curry also came through with some new heat featuring the homies Nell, Yung Kane, Slikk and Rell. If you like your rap dark, angry and vengeful, these guys are for you.

ScHoolboy Q's newest album Blank Face has arrived, and with it a bevy of dope new tracks. The Jadakiss feature on "Groovy Tony/Eddie Kane" is a standout, but just before the album dropped, Black Hippy ganged up for a vicious remix of "THat Part."

Snoop's COOLAID is in stores now, and he's got a dope track on there called "Ten Toes Down" as well. Be sure to check that out.
