Mac Miller returned out of the clear blue sky this week with "DANG!" It's the first single off his upcoming album The Divine Feminine dropping in September and it features none other than 2016 XXL Freshman Anderson .Paak doing his soulful steez over a beat by POMO that sounds ripped straight off a Soulection episode. If that's not enough for you to bump it, have a nice life.

J. Cole also came back from obscurity on DJ Khaled's new album Major Key. "Jermaine's Interlude" is produced by Cole and finds him spitting by himself, with a little help from Atlanta's EarthGang. Nas has a similar situation on the album with "Nas Album Done," and honestly the two are probably in competition for the best verses on Khaled's LP.

After he was featured on an unreleased Coloring Book leak with Chance and Jeremih, St. Louis rapper Smino drops his new single "Kajun." The kid's been making a ton of noise and this single is a dope example of why.

Chicago rapper Saba is another one to watch out for. He debuted his new single "Symmetry" on Beats 1 this week and it's a beautifully languid record that breaches the boundaries of what many might expect from a Chi-town MC.

The Game also released a soundtrack for his mobile game Block Wars and "Get High" is a standout track on there.

And then there's Starlito, the rap vet who can't help but spill his emotions on every beat he raps over. His new tape Red Dot Free is stuffed with freestyles over his favorite recent beats, and even though we included his version of Bankroll Fresh's "Screen Door," you can have your pick of almost any track on the tape. He's been one of the most consistent rappers in any region for years now, and nothing;s changed on his new joint.
