Ab-Soul adds a dose of California sauce to Bas' 2015 single "Housewives." Bas dropped the official remix to day (July 15) via Soundcloud. Ab's smokey vocals ride perfectly on the Soundwavve and Ron Gilmore-produced beat. The original cut was no doubt a sleeper hit off Bas' March album Too High To Riot, but thanks to Ab's verse, the track has new life.

"Pastor Blackman join my diocese/Warn the people sleeping on the legion/I'm a Dreamvillain talking major keys/Think DJ Khaled playing Mavis Beacon/Soulo found the loud and lit it backwoods/Back to back, it's like I'm mad at Meek/Burning brain cells with my nigga that just made bail like last week/Still ducking strays in the plies like submissive bitches/With my dogs at the top with some heat and fuck all ya'll 'til I'm in the box/6 feet underneath the gravel, casket made of 47 karat gold/Hear the trumpets blow, Jesus banging the gavel," raps Soulo.

Bas has been hitting the road in promotion of his new album all year. The Queens-bred MC has been on a 23-city North American tour for the LP and made his final stop in New York this past week. And to make the finish line that much sweeter, Bas brought out his Dreamville general, J.Cole for the occasion. Cole made a surprise appearance at Bas' Highline Ballroom show performing “A Tale of 2 Citiez” and “No Role Modelz.” Needless to say, the Dreamville diehards went insane.

Bassy and Ab make a great pair on the track. Let's hope there's more collabs to come. For now, listen to the official remix above.
