At the second annual Steez Day Festival this year, Ab-Soul took the stage and threw shots at Troy Ave and Jay Electronica. You can hear his freestyle above.

In it, he throws a stray at Troy Ave before bearing down on Jay Elect.

“I was like a swami to Jay Electronica until he figured that Kendrick wouldn’t admit that he would body him for a milly / I told Dizzle “keep quiet, I’ma get him, We don’t need dirt on your hands getting the keys to the city, you feel me?” / It hurts when your OG who’s / supposed to be a G-O-D / Is standing next to King Kunta feeling like Toby / Moose, what I gotta do boy? / I'm just waiting on your cue (Q) to take ’em to school, boy."

Earlier in the year, Jay Elect broadcast a long Periscope session and talked about Kendrick. “Look, I like the one Kendrick song with Gunplay, ‘Cartoon & Cereal,’ but other than that we don’t know what nigga talking about,” Electronica said. He later added to the topic after one of his fans had some harsh words for Cornrow Kenny. “Don’t say fuck Kendrick, that’s still our brother,” the rapper states. And moving further into the clip (at the 12:40-mark), he brings up Lamar again adding, “Kendrick is my son, Kendrick is my baby, Kendrick wishes he could be me.”
