After Vic Mensa posted a picture of himself with Jay Z and Beyonce, and blacked out Chance the Rapper so that he was no longer visible, many wondered if there was tension brewing between the two young Chicago rappers. It was a curious and obvious photo editing decision that seemed to have no other explanation.

While Malik Yusef posted to Instagram on Monday (June 13) writing "There is NO beef Btween @chancetherapper and @vicmensa," Mensa took it a step further in speaking to L.A.'s Real 92.3 saying he doesn't participate in feuds.

"I really pride myself on, my entire life, having been a really straight up dude to everyone around me. I don't do my people dirty," he told the radio station at around the 17:38 mark. "I just don't do it. So if somebody was wanting to beef with me, they wouldn't really have all that much ammo. They would have to start digging and making things up 'cause I just keep it really really really real with my guys and people that I move with, that I do business with. They'll testify I'm a hunnid."

So that settles it? Best friends can turn to strangers or worse in no time, especially within hip-hop, but taking everybody at their word, it would appear that the Photoshop flap wasn't anything to take too serious.
