Fans may not have to wait too long to hear Travis Scott's new album. During a recent show, the "Antidote" rapper let it slip that his second studio LP is scheduled to drop next week. A Twitter user posted a video on Sunday (June 26) of Scott making the announcement during a set.

"My album is coming in a week, right?" Travis Scott said after playing his "Woo" collaboration with Rihanna. "I'm gonna play a couple joints on there."

Travis Scott's previous statements would hint at this new project being his previously announced Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. But just last month, the Houston native promised another album called Astroworld. All signs point toward this being the former title though because Scott said Astroworld would be released after Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.

The new album release may seem like its coming out of nowhere, but Travis Scott has built up some momentum for the LP with the single "Pick Up the Phone" featuring Young Thug and Quavo. Scott went through some major hassle to even put out the track.

"THIS SONG WAS SUPPOSE TO GO TO ITUNES BUT LABELS ARE MAKEING THIS MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT ACTUALLY NEED TO BE THIS WAS GONA BE MY SINGLE BUT NOW IM GIVING A WAY FOR THE KIDS," Scott wrote upon its release. "P.S. THEY MIGHT TAKE THIS DOWN CAUSE THEY DONT WANT KIDS TO EAT. FUCK IT GOOD NIGHT."

Travis Scott eventually squared everything away with 300 Entertainment's Lyor Cohen and the song was officially released on digital outlets. As of now, "Pick Up the Phone" is the only known record from Scott's upcoming album. A few months ago, the rapper did claim that he would use Mike Dean's "Grande Faucon" as the LP's intro. Fans will have to wait and see if that turns out to be true.
