2012: Nightclub brawls are sadly nothing new in hip-hop, but this one surprised many fans at the time, mostly because of the caliber of stardom it involved. The night of June 14, 2012 was anything but a party as Chris Brown and Drake’s entourages got into a fight, causing a bottle-throwing brawl at NYC's famous W.I.P Nightclub.

In the early morning hours of June 14, W.I.P Nightclub, one of the most exclusive clubs in NYC at the time, was just getting packed with celebrities from the hip-hop and sports world. Drizzy and Breezy were both in W.I.P's VIP area enjoying the atmosphere when something changed. Witnesses say after a few glances back and forth, Drake flipping the middle finger in Brown's direction is what started the drama. From there, a fight broke out with each artist's camp throwing liquor bottles and putting hands on one another. Video of the fight that surfaced days later showing the melee, including two men visibly trading punches. Breezy even ended up with nasty gash on his chin after all was said and done. Brown tweeted a picture of the cut on his chin and went on a later-deleted rant on Twitter about the ordeal.

“How u party wit a rich nigga that hate? Lol…. Throwing bottles like girls #shameonya!” Breezy tweeted out. “N*ggas is pussy! Bottles? It’s nothing! Lol N*ggas throwing bottles! Y’all n*ggaz weak!"

Meanwhile, Drake's reps claimed the 6ix God was not involved in the fight whatsoever. To this day, the fight goes down in hip-hop history as being unresolved. We still don't exactly know what the fight was over, but many speculate it could have to do with Rihanna, Chris Brown's famous ex and Drake's on-again, off-again love.
