ScHoolboy Q is readying his return to hip-hop's main stage with his new album Blank Face scheduled to drop next month. The centerpiece of the album rollout thus far is Q's new Kanye West-featured single "THat Part" which first debuted roughly a month ago. The song is so new in fact that when Q performed it at a recent show for Montreal's MURAL fest, it marked the first live performance of it.

"It's so new, I don't even know the words," Q says midway through the performance, letting a few bars drop, though to no clear objection from the crowd, who nail their role in screaming the song's title during the hook. Watch the performance in the clip above, after which ScHoolboy gives the advice of "Believe in yourself, if school is the way for you go to school if you have a talent, use your talent and that’s all I gotta say. Don’t be lazy."

Excitement for Blank Face peaked on Tuesday (June 14) when Q released the album artwork, revealing it to be a featureless image of the crying Jordan meme that has circulated online about a million times over. The album is set to drop on July 8, with a video for "THat Part" released earlier this month. In the above performance, Q rattles off Kanye's verse, and while TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith expressed disappointment in the financial support the single is receiving, fans seemed excited to participate in the first live performance of it.

Blank Face will be ScHoolboy Q's first release since 2014's Oxymoron, which was nominated for a Best Rap Album Grammy.
