Pusha T is well-known as an exceptional rapper and the president of Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music, but who knew that your neighborhood Pusha had commercial credits in the game as well. When talking with Ebro and crew at Hot 97, Steve Stoute, who was promoting his new publication TheStashed, revealed that the McDonalds slogan "I'm Lovin' It" and the initial commercial and jingle attached, were penned by Push himself.

"Our first big thing was launching 'I’m Lovin It' for McDonalds, that was in 2004," Stoute said, speaking of his marketing company Translation. Ebro then shared what was the popular opinion, that Pharrell and Justin Timberlake had crafted the tune, but Stoute quickly corrected him. "You know who did that? Pusha T. That’s crazy that Pusha T wrote the song for McDonalds," he said. "I can’t remember the money [received]. It was 11 years ago. Nobody was upset."

For Push, the revelation comes at a near perfect time, as he just recently dropped the first single off his upcoming album King Push. "Drug Dealers Anonymous" stirred plenty of conversation, as on it, Jay Z makes a meme-referencing punchline and uses an audio clip from news anchor Tomi Lahren, who emphasized Jay's drug dealing past as means to invalidate Beyonce as a social messenger. Lahren responded to her inclusion on the song swiftly, writing on Twitter, "I’ve got 99 problems but trust me, being on your rap ain’t one.”
