Following news of his release from house arrest this past weekend, it would appear as if Meek Mill is nearing closer to releasing his mixtape Dreamchasers 4. DJ Akadmiks posted the above preview of "Froze" featuring Nicki Minaj and Lil Uzi Vert to Twitter on Saturday (June 18), and while the audio quality makes it difficult to make out specific lines or bars, it does shed light on the overall shape and sound of the collaboration.

Last month, Meek Mill posted a photo of his iced out wrist to Instagram, writing, "You know how froze dat is FT . NICKI . LIL UZI #THE4" and it would appear that the title of the track has since simplified. In the above clip, Lil Uzi Vert can be heard saying the previous title in full, drawing attention to his neck and cuffs asking the rhetorical question. Nicki's contributions to the track can't be heard in the preview, her verses typically being the main attraction whenever she serves as a featured guest.

Like Meek, Lil Uzi Vert hails from Philadelphia, and the two shared a stage earlier this month at The Roots picnic in their hometown city. For Uzi, who was selected as a 2016 XXL Freshman just last week, the appearance and forthcoming collaboration represent a further ascent in hip-hop, following the release of his album Lil Uzi Vert vs The WorldIt remains to be seen exactly how Meek will utilize the newfound Philly union, but the "Froze" leak suggests the release of the track, and perhaps all of Dreamchasers 4, is growing increasingly closer.
