Lil Wayne Performs at E3 Days After Release From Hospital

Lil Wayne is already back to work. Weezy was out performing at the E3 video game conference just one day after being released from a hospital. Lil Wayne was hospitalized after suffering multiple seizures during a flight to California, which forced the pilot to make an emergency stop in Omaha.

The New Orleans rapper has dealt with seizures before as he suffered a similar experience in October of 2012. Much like his latest health scare, Lil Wayne suffered multiple seizures during a flight which had to make emergency landings in Louisiana and Texas. Just a few months later in March of 2013, Lil Wayne suffered another seizure on the set of music video.

While there has been no confirmation about what caused Lil Wayne's most recent seizures, it has been speculated that it may have something to due with his heavy consumption of lean at a recent show. The "A Milli" rapper was out a Milwaukee club on Sunday night (June 12) where he was reportedly seen drinking massive amounts of lean.

"Weezy was cruising around with five 16 oz. bottles of Promethazine/Codeine syrup during his club appearance in Milwaukee over the weekend with one onlooker telling us Wayne downed three bottles just by himself," TMZ reported.

Lil Wayne's penchant for the purple drank is well known, but hopefully it is not so out of control that he is causing himself this much harm. The prescription-strength codeine and Sprite mixture can cause a suppression of the central nervous system when taken in high doses.
