On Wednesday, Kid Cudi announced plans to drop two albums this summer. Today (June 3), in a series of tweets, Cudder tells his fans that he has no involvement in Kanye West's highly anticipated Cruel Winter album.

Cudi and 'Ye have a long track record together, so fans might be a bit disappointed by the news. The two first collaborated on "Welcome to Heartbreak," a track on West's 808s & Heartbreak album. Most recently, Cudi added some trademark vocals to Kanye's 2016 release, The Life of Pablo, on songs such as "Waves" and "Father Stretch My Hands."

The "Day 'N Nite" artist appeared on West's Cruel Summer album, so people were speculating that Cudi might also appear on Cruel Winter. However, based on Friday's tweets, we now know that is not the case. You can view the tweets below.

On Friday morning, Kanye premiered the first Cruel Winter single -- an absolute banger featuring Travi$ Scott, Quavo, Big Sean, Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz and Desiigner called "Champions." There's no word yet on a release date for the entire album, but more information is sure to leak over the coming days and weeks.

Twenty-four hours earlier, on Thursday morning, Cudi announced that Travi$ Scott will be featured on one of his two upcoming albums. In listening to La Flame's mixtapes and debut album, it's clear that Cudi was an influence on his sound. Therefore, it'll be interesting to hear the two on a record together.
