Today (June 29), Joey Purp delivers a triumphant new track called "Bomaye." The two-and-a-half minute record features production from fellow Chicagoan Thelonious Martin.

Joey shows off his pinpoint delivery and clever wordplay throughout "Bomaye," a song split into two parts. Based on the interlude, it's clear the Save Money rapper wants these different sections to feel like the A and B sides of an old record.

Purp raps, "Steady buying crosses tryna keep the reapers off us/As if diamonds could keep them demons off us/Cold world, but that block is scorching/And we're still bending corners/Crack the windows, smell the weed aroma/They sold us crack and made us sell it for 'em/We sold it back and then they jealous for it/We hit them windows while you sleepin' on us/Cold world, but we got heaters on us, bang."

He continues, "Now that I got your attention, I'm the only young boy the big homies should mention, ay/Gold crosses, keepin' it Christian/Dress like I just came over for Christmas, yes/Young Purple comin' live from the kitchen/Get my hands dirty whippin' but I still do the dishes."

Thelonious Martin does a masterful job on the instrumental, setting the stage nicely for Purp to do his thing on the (perhaps) Muhammad Ali-inspired track.
