Being an in-demand producer in hip-hop today means that plenty of imitators will come out of the woodwork looking to capture a signature sound. Daz Dillinger though, feels as if DJ Mustard stole from him, using the Mila J and Ty Dolla $ign song "My Main" as a prime example.

In a recent interview with DPG Uncut TV, Daz was asked how an artist can protect their music from being leaked or copied. "Put it out yourself," he says before queuing up "My Main" on his laptop. "They stole this but I don’t get no publishing so that’s why I gotta sue the publishing company...Right now I’m suing Sony publishing and they giving me back all my copyrights, which is unheard of, cause they in the wrong."

When asked if he confronted Mustard about the alleged theft, Daz says that the two got into it with neither backing down, though Daz notes that Mustard didn't truly produce the beat in question, but rather placed his drop at the beginning. According to Daz, the production on that track is too similar to his on "Who Got Some Gangsta Shit" to not be a blatant rip.

Watch Daz break it all down in the clip up top, with both songs in question included below. His project with Snoop Dogg titled Cuzznz is currently heavy in the streets, and Daz celebrated a birthday recently on May 25. Proper dues and royalty checks sound like a decent enough present.
