On Tuesday night (June 7), Stephen Colbert closed his Late Show monologue with some topical cereal humor, which, while colorful in its own right, received an added boost courtesy of Chance the Rapper and Skrillex. The two musicians remixed Colbert's joke, which is another way of saying that Chance used one-liners as the basis for his own punched up raps.

In focusing on a new cereal title from General Mills, Chance rapped, "Cereal folks is crying like milk is spilled / They be making the checks but they ain’t paying the bills / Look sonny, they need money and if this ain't the fix / It won’t just be that silly bunny out here turnin’ some tricks." Watch the bit play out in the above video.

Later on, both Skrillex and Chance joined Hundred Waters in performing the remix to "Show Me Love," a track that was originally released in late March. The famous DJ shreds on electric guitar while Chancellor adds a feature verse complete with his trademark cadence and enunciation.

Chance has established his rapport with Colbert in previous appearances, when, in October of 2015, he premiered his song "Angels" on the late night program, with Colbert participating by wearing a halo during the performance. As time would reveal, that song was the first to be released off of Chance's highly-acclaimed Coloring Book, which dropped last month (May 12).
