BitTorrent has launched their own streaming option called BitTorrent Now to its BitTorrent Bundle. The ad-supported service will not be in competition with juggernauts like Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Netflix or Hulu. BitTorrent Now will allow fas to stream music that is made available by artists through its direct-to-fan platform. The direct-to-fan platform was introduced in the BitTorrent Bundle in 2013, giving artists ultimate creativity and interaction with their fans. BitTorrent Now is currently available as an app on Android devices, with iOS and will soon be accessible on Apple TV apps.

"Hip-hop culture has been the driving force for change in music," said BitTorrent’s VP of Creative Initiatives Straith Schreder to XXL via email. "A song can be infinite, remixed by fans. An album can remain a work in progress. Maybe Life of Pablo will never be done. We started BitTorrent Bundle because we wanted to build a platform that gives creators the freedom to share their work, in any form; from mixtapes and stems to film and visuals. BitTorrent Now is the evolution of the project we started with Bundle, bringing the platform to more screens, and giving creators more way to create value for their work."

Artists, studios, distributors and creatives are already utilizing the BitTorrent Bundle. Major Lazer, G-Eazy, Yung Jake, Diplo, Kerli, Kyiki, Bosco & Speakerfoxxx, Thom Yorke, Fool's Gold Records, Adam Bhala Lough, A24, Oscilloscope Labs, Drafthouse Films, Factory25 and Soulection have been frequent users in recent years. Don't miss out on something revolutionary.
