Family schisms can take generations to mend and the bad blood that's been brewing between Birdman and Lil Wayne doesn't look to be nearing a resolution any time soon. Over the weekend (May 28), Wayne was performing in Phoenix and continued his onstage attacks toward Cash Money and the man behind the acronyms, telling the audience to repeat after him as he said, "F*#k the bird man.” The diss was noteworthy as it appeared to be the first time Wayne called Baby out by name.

And now, Birdman looks to be getting back at his surrogate son for the slick remarks. Kanye West once asked, "How you gon be mad on vacation?" but Birdman is seemingly just that, cursing out his haters from a yacht off in some tropical looking locale that could easily be Miami. "F*#k you if you hatin' on me" he says at the tail end of the clip, echoing the Instagram video's caption. It's hard to make out everything he says before though, as his record "Dallas" with Jacques is ringing off in the background.

There was a brief moment where tensions seemed to die down between the longtime partners, as in late February, they appeared alongside Mannie Fresh and Juvenile for the track "Hate." Fresh later said that things were not resolved between the two, and in early May, Birdman said, "I’m not ever going to let this music and this money ever interfere with how I feel about my son. I love him. We gonna figure it out, guaranteed.”

At the root of the turmoil is Wayne's Tha Carter V, which has yet to even sniff a release date or lead single, and money that Wayne feels he and other Cash Money artists are owed. Since then though, the squabbling has spilled over to social media and on-stage videos, with the war of words continuing on without an end in sight. Watch Birdman's latest rebuttal up above.
