Lauryn Hill is known for fronting one of the '90s most beloved groups (The Fugees), and dropping one of the best solo albums of the '90s (The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill). Unfortunately, one of her other calling cards is routinely being late to shows. It happened again last night (May 6).

Ms. Hill was scheduled to perform in Atlanta at Chastain Park Amphitheatre. The show was set for 8 PM, but two hours after the start time, fans were still standing around wondering if she would show up. The singer ended up hitting the stage around 10:20, and by that time the crowd was not happy, with many of them raining down boos.

“My driver got lost, I can’t control that,” she said, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

By the time she started singing, the crowd had settled as they sang along to tracks like “Mystery of Iniquity,” “Everything is Everything” and "Ex-Factor." But 40 minutes into the show, her mics were cut because of the venue's strict closing time. Hill attempted to continue, but eventually had to stop - which brought on more boos.

The late start time and the short performance have been the talk of Twitter for hours with most people bashing the singer for her continuous issues with showing up on time. Most people weren't surprised, calling out Hill's past issues with punctuality while others defended her and her legacy.
