Back in late March, Twista was arrested in Indiana for marijuana possesion when police pulled over the rapper's Rolls Royce on his way show in Valparaiso. The Chicago spitter plead not guilty to the charge a few weeks later, with his legal representation looking into the possibility that profiling led to the initial arrest.

Now, TMZ is reporting that case against Twista and his Rolls riding associates has been dropped, with the vehicle's driver copping to be the owner of the illicit materials. When police initially made the arrest, none of the car's passengers had declared the half ounce of weed found as their own, resulting in arrests for all four travelers. However, sources with direct knowledge of the case tell TMZ that an agreement has been reached with Porter County prosecutors for three of the four cases to be dismissed, Twista's among them. Rather than facing the possibility of jail time, he's now getting off with probation.

Musically, Twista has been quiet in recent months, with his videos for "Models & Bottles" and "Riding Slow" dropping in support of his Livin Legend EP. Prior to that, Twist had laid two freestyles over Zaytoven beats in the form of "100 Bandz" and "Lay Up." With this charge no longer looming, Twista is no doubt laying up a bit more comfortably now.
