A T.I. show at Irving Plaza in New York this week ended in tragedy, as a 33-year-old man was killed by gunshot. Despite the rapper not having anything to do with the shooting, his pockets are taking a hit.

Organizers of a concert for high school graduates are demanding a $55,000 refund from T.I., who was getting ready to perform at a concert for the students in Florida on June 11. Tip had already signed a contract to perform in Florida and received $55,000 to retian his services before the Irving Plaza events took place.

According to TMZ, the South Florida concert promoters wrote a legal notice saying that, because of the shooting, "the quality of the Talents services is not satisfactory to our Client." After the events this week, the promoters no longer feel the event is a "safe environment for the students," as it was originally marketed.

So far, rapper Troy Ave has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and two counts of illegal weapon possession for firing a gun inside Irving Plaza, which was caught on tape. Rapper Maino was initially rumored to be involved in the incident, but he has since shot those rumors down. NYPD is still investigating the events that took place at Irving Plaza, but one thing is certain: T.I. and his people had nothing to do with the shootings that took place. They simply happened to occur at his concert.

In fact, video has emerged of T.I. helping one of the shooting victims. On Thursday night (May 26), in a smart move, Live Nation announced it had refunded all tickets to the show as a result of the shooting.
