Much like the A$AP Mob do for fallen group member A$AP Yams, Pro Era holds an annual concert event in the memory of Capital STEEZ, whom the group lost in late 2012 when the rapper took his own life. This year's STEEZ Day Festival is moving from New York to L.A. and features a lineup that packs a heavy punch.

On Instagram today (May 19), Joey Bada$$ announced that the 2nd Annual STEEZ Day will include performances by Pro Era, A$AP Mob, Danny Brown and Raury, with special guests and lineup additions yet to be revealed.

Last year's inaugural Steez Day included performances by Dyme-A-Duzin, Smoke DZA, Phony PPL, The Underachievers, Flatbush Zombies, Joey Bada$$ and Ab-Soul. The memorial event will take place in Los Angeles this year on July 7. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday, May 20) at noon EST, with all proceeds going to the family of Capital STEEZ.

In May of last year, Pro Era member Kirk Knight said that were he alive today, Capital STEEZ would be better than a lot of rappers out. “I feel like Steez always has to be honored as a ill ass MC,” he said. “Because the shit that he was coming up with to me was amazing. It’s obvious if he was still alive today he would be killing a lot of rappers. His metaphors and similes and this that and the third is something I’m truly inspired from.”
