The last few years have been tough for YMCMB and painful for fans to watch. With Lil Wayne suing Birdman for millions of dollars and the right to release Tha Carter V, things just aren't the same with the camp, even for those who are not beefing. The alleged broken bond between father and son has seemingly trickled down through the entire label and caused distance between the members of YMCMB.

The last time members of the label were pictured together was at Drake's New Years 2016 party in Miami. Both Mack Maine and Birdman posted photos on Instagram of the crew reunited and it was said that they even squashed the beef. “This my motherf*cking son and I’ma die for him, I’ma live for him and I’ll motherf*cking kill for him,” Baby said at the party. “That ain’t gon’ never change, n*gga. It’s YMCMB for life,” Baby confessed while Lil Wayne stood beside him. A few weeks later, Baby posted a picture of Wayne in the studio with Yo Gotti. However, Wayne had yet to acknowledge they rekindled and news broke the lawsuit still stood, plus news Weezy was taking the suit further by suing Universal Music for Drake and Nicki Minaj’s earnings.

Fast forward to the present, and things for the famed label are still up in the air. It's safe to say everyone is on pins and needles for an update and has hopes that YMCMB will once again see the light of day. The closest thing to a response from Lil Wayne was when he posed for a picture with Birdman's enemies Trick Daddy and Rick Ross. The photo surfaced just days after Birdman walked off of the Breakfast Club when Charlamagne asked him if he pulled up on Rick Ross and Trick Daddy, who both threw shots at Baby while on the show.

Even with the drama though, the label is still racking in the cash. Drake's new album sold over one million in the first week and Birdman is gearing up for his first solo album in seven years.
