Tim Westwood has been blessing us with classic freestyles for Throwback Thursday for the last few months and the latest comes from Tical himself. While out in the London in 2004, Method Man stopped by Tim's radio show and smashed Obie Trice's "The Setup" instrumental like he owned it.

Using the witty wordplay that we've come to know and love, Meth proves why he's considered one of the best lyricists ever, and why the Wu-Tang Clan decided to make him the first marquee solo act when the group burst onto the scene in 1993. Making references to his How High? film, his "All I Need" collab with Mary J. Blige and more, this one needs to be run back a few times just to catch all the punchlines.

Two weeks ago Westwood dropped an epic 2004 25-minute freestyle from Eminem, D12, Green Lantern and Stat Quo. Rhyming over beats like Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” Young Buck’s “Shorty Wanna Ride,” Lloyd Banks’ “Bangers,” The Lox’s “Fuck You,” Trillville’s “Get On My Level” and Fat Joe’s “Lifestyle,” the opus was peak mid-2000's.

Em was on his promo run for Encore at the time, an album that sold over 700,000 copies and hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Marshall is still cashing in on music he made in the early-to-mid 2000's as he just dropped "Lose Yourself" inspired "Mom's Spaghetti" t-shirts right in time for Mother's Day.
