Fans may never see Joe Budden grace the stage again after a performance in Washington, D.C. next month. The Slaughterhouse member went on Twitter today (May 16) to share dates for some upcoming shows. But in a subsequent tweet, Budden claimed that these events would be his final shows.

"To whom it may concern, those are the last Budden shows ever," Budden wrote. "Thx to all of you that helped me live out my dreams."

Joe Budden did not give any reason for his step away from live performing. The tweet does use the wording "last Budden shows ever" which might be a way of admitting that he'll still do shows with his Slaugterhouse brethren.

The Mood Muzik rapper has been in the news of late for his criticism of Drake's new album Views. Budden went on his I’ll Name This Podcast Later podcast and called Drake's work uninspired.

"I think that that kid on that album that I heard sounds real fucking uninspired," Budden said. "That’s what I think. I think that that music is real good. You can’t fool a real n---a... That music sounds good and I enjoyed it... 40, you sound amazing. 40 continues to progress. Drake, you do not."

This prompted speculation online and in Budden's camp that Drake would respond with a diss. Despite that, the New Jersey native has dismissed the notion that Drizzy is going that route. If a diss does drop, fans may need to be in attendance at one of the remaining Budden solo gigs to hear a response. Check out the list of dates below.
