Toronto rapper Jazz Cartier pushes boundaries and tries something new for his dual video "Red Alert/100 Roses." Released today (May 10), the visual finds the young upstart hanging out of truck windows and creeping through the forest without skipping a beat on his lyrical delivery.

The two cuts are standout singles from LaFleur's independent sophomore album Hotel Paranoia. First dropped in February, the 23-year-old MC showed growth and represented the 6 well with dark, woozy tracks and haunting visuals to match. The self-proclaimed Golden Child has been trying to carve a name for himself in Toronto for years and was recently featured on XXL's The New New among Toronto's upcoming artists to watch. Since the release of Hotel Paranoia, Jacuzzi has held his own in New York with his first headlining show and made a splash at SXSW 2016.

“It’s like channeling the vulnerability that I think a lot of rappers are on the fence about exposing,” Jazz Cartier told Billboard when Hotel Paranoia dropped. “You’re putting yourself on this platform for the Internet to say whatever they want about you but you have to just plain not think about that and that was my mindset."
