It's no secret that Drake has little trouble making friends these days. The Toronto rapper is riding high off the April release of his fifth studio album, Views, and has practically everyone in the hip-hop world watching his every move -- including Joe Budden.

On the flip side, Drake has found a group of celebrity friends in major pro athletes like Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry, Toronto Raptors' Kyle Lowry and of course, Cleveland Cavs' LeBron James. It was Drake who rapped, "I swear sports and music are so synonymous 'cause we wanna be them and they wanna be us." But there's one specific player these days that Drizzy has a close-knit friendship with on and off the field.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has quickly become a prominent friend among rappers, especially the 6ix God. Drizzy and OBJ first met at the 2015 Houston Appreciation Week and instantly hit it off. OBJ was even staying at Drake's mansion during the final days that the "Hotline Bling" rapper was finishing Views.

“He’s somebody whose mind state is the same as yours and they want nothing but success, they want to be the best." OBJ said about Drake. "We just click on a level like that. This really was the start of a becoming friendship that will carry on for a lifetime. Weird enough, I’m actually staying at his place while he finishes [Views]. He needs to chill out with that house out there, there’s too much going on.”

For fans of OBJ and the reigning rap star, it seems their bromance has produced nothing but "hits, no misses." Check out some highlights of Odell and Drake's friendship so far in the gallery above.
