Danny Brown is coming to Brooklyn, New York next week (May 24) for a free show at House of Vans. You can RSVP for tickets right here.

The show is part of a larger event involving a film called Danny Brown: Live at the Majestic. The documentary, directed by Andrew Cohn, goes backstage with the Detroit rapper moments before a show in his hometown at the Majestic. The documentary will premiere at the Brooklyn show, accompanied by a live performance from DB himself.

The Fool's Gold rapper has been pretty silent since 2014's Old, minus a loosie or two (like "Worth It" with Clams Casino). His next album has been hotly anticipated, especially since Danny's been doing some growing up lately. He quit lean last year (though he still gets plenty turnt) and announced a children's book inspired by his daughter.

In a recent interview, he also explained that he had been back in the lab with frequent XXX collaborator Paul White and that his new album wouldn't be quite as experimental and all over the place as Old.

“I’ve been making music quite a bit, so I feel like I’ve found my sound since,” he said. “This album is not necessarily about me experimenting so much, but more so about me just doing what Danny Brown does. It’s just my sound, you know? A lot of those ideas I used to have before, I’ve just built on those ideas and made them bigger. They’ve finally come full circle.”

We'll be in the house next Tuesday to see if Danny premieres any new music, so if you wanna be there too, RSVP ASAP.
