Chris Brown Denies Getting Kicked off Plane for Smoking Weed

The Cannes Film Festival is currently taking place in France, and there have been reports that Chris Brown had some difficulty getting there. According to TMZ, Brown and friends had their private jet land in Miami after the pilot complained he smelled the strong scent of marijuana smoke from the cabin. No arrests were made, but police did kick everyone off the flight.

Now, Breezy has issued a response via Instagram, flat out denying that any bud was burnt and instead suggesting that the pilot was the one interested in drugs. "Why the hell we in Cannes if we got escorted off a plane?" he asks in the above video. "One, marijuana smoke on the plane? I think we kinda learned that lesson. I don’t think we really need drugs on the plane. But you probably should check with the pilot, cause he definitely kept asking my homies for an 8 ball and we definitely don’t sell drugs. So I’ma be rich, stay rich and happy."

Brown's caption on the video is less clear but he does mention that he understands that he and his "fellow colleagues" can look rather intimidating with their chains, watches and tattoos. The whole incident, or rumor of an incident, is just a footnote in the history of Brown-related drama to come out in recent years which includes, most recently, a trespasser being arrested again.
