Rap was vibrant as hell this week, and it shows in this week's collection of best songs.

Chance The Rapper lit up the night yesterday with Coloring Book, his ambitious, religious project that features everyone from Justin Bieber to Jay Electronica. It's an Apple Music exclusive for a couple weeks so none of those tracks are on Soundcloud, but there are a ton of records from the tape that could make the cut this week. "All Night" produced by Kaytranada is a standout, along with "Mixtape," which features an unbelievable verse from Young Thug. Chance is full of surprises on this one.

Post Malone also dropped his debut project August 26 yesterday, and the response has been positive so far. One song dedicated to former Golden State Warrior Monta Ellis has been getting a ton of love, even though it's just called "Monte." Pay attention to this kid. He's about to make a ton of noise.

Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J continue to energize each other over 808 Mafia beats with "All Night," produced by TM88. Their joint project Rude Awakenings drops next week.

Los Angeles spitter RJ also dropped a crucial mixtape this week called O.M.M.I.O. 3, and though "30 In the Middle" is literally in the middle of the tape, it's one of the project's best tracks.

Trinidad James rounds out this week's handpicked selection, showcasing his range by jumping on a track with Young Dolph. James is living nice these days with "Just a Lil' Thick" featuring Lil Dicky and Mystikal.
