Update:

XXL reached out to a Twitter rep, who told us they don't comment on individual accounts for security and privacy reasons. They did, however, direct us towards a very specific part of their guidelines:

“We may suspend an account if it has been reported to us as violating our Rules surrounding abuse. When an account engages in abusive behavior, like sending threats to others or impersonating other accounts, we may suspend it temporarily or, in some cases, permanently.”

Original Story:

Dammit, Azealia. Days after going in on 14-year-old Disney star Skai Jackson and slinging racial slurs at former One Direction member Zayn Malik on Twitter, Azealia Banks' Twitter account has been suspended.

She's known for going on long, nasty rants on Twitter, but when she started throwing epithets at Zayn, Jackson commented that Banks should probably "simmer down." Banks responded swiftly, telling her she'll probably be strung out on drugs within a couple years. Jackson, however, came out on top by showing class and telling Azealia these Twitter interactions surely weren't helping her career any.

Aside from being banned from Twitter, Banks may also be facing alienation from the U.K. An official statement Home Office reads, "Coming to the UK is a privilege, and we expect those who come here to respect our shared values. The Home Secretary has the power to exclude an individual if she considers that his or her presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good or if their exclusion is justified on public policy grounds."

Despite being embroiled in constant beef, Azealia dropped a project earlier this year, Slay Z, and dropped a video for her excellent lead single "Big Big Beat." Believe it or not, the shit is actually jamming, but seeing how her antics constantly overshadow her music, we can't blame you if you haven't heard the song yet. You should, though.
