Traveling across Europe or anywhere really can be a financial burden, despite the intrigue and excitement that comes with foreign travel. Luckily, 50 Cent and Hostelworld are here to sing the praises of hostel living, with the rapper starring in a recent ad for the brand in which he gives viewers a Cribs style tour of a Barcelona hostel.

"So this is what it’s all about. Community vibe. People from all walks are enjoying themselves," 50 says after handing out chess pointers. The whole bit is a humorous albeit fairly transparent endorsement.

50's financial status has been the topic of conversation ever since the rapper filed for bankruptcy in July of last year. 50's assets were reported at a total $16 million with his lawyers saying in bankruptcy court that the money he flashes on Instagram is merely a prop to advance his image as a businessman and rapper with aspirational wealth. As recently as this past March, 50 was reportedly close to settling his bankruptcy case, with his lawyers reaching a potential agreement with the creditors who hold more than 95 percent of his debts.

Catch 50's hostel endorsement up top. Musically, the Power executive has linked up with Chris Brown twice on the "I'm the Man" remix and "No Romeo No Juliet."

The rapper found himself in a bit of hot water recently when he mistakenly took a disabled airport employee for being high on drugs, posting his own reaction online. He has since apologized, donated $100,000 to an autism advocacy group and visited a disabled fan in Philadelphia.
