Schoolboy Q is one step closer to releasing his fourth album. The Top Dawg Entertainment rapper went on Snapchat and revealed that he turned his album in to his label. When a Twitter account recounted a previous report that the album would be released before the summer, Schoolboy Q added a little mystery to the situation.

"You never know when it will drop," Schoolboy Q wrote on Twitter. Mixing is done also. Stay tuned."

TDE is expected to have a big 2016 as multiple artists on their roster as planning to release new albums this year. Things got off to an exciting start when Kendrick Lamar surprised the world with his untitled unmastered. project.

There have been hints that Schoolboy Q's untitled album is next up on the TDE release schedule. TDE president Punch spoke to Billboard last month about the "Collard Greens" rapper's LP.

"What’s standing out to me right now, is [Schoolboy Q’s] attention to detail. The details in his bars is way up,” Punch said. “To me, he’s way more lyrical on this album than he’s ever been. There’s a certain imagery that he’s bringing out in this one. I’m an album guy so I like all of those intricacies throughout the whole project.”

As for Schoolboy Q, he is going on vacation. After turning in the album to TDE, the California native took off with his crew to take the first vacation of his life. With all the work put into the LP, that sounds like a much deserved break.
