Post Malone had Justin Bieber fans and media outlets on high alert earlier this week, when a photo surfaced of the "White Iverson" rapper choking Bieber in a Houston nightclub. The two are currently touring the country in support of Bieber's Purpose album, and Post called in to Zane Lowe's Apple Beats 1 radio show to clear the air.

In the soundbite, which is included below, Post echoes the sentiments he shared on Twitter Wednesday (April 13), saying that if tensions between the two really were that high, those around them would have acted on it. "Look out for me, man," he says first when Lowe suggests pop stars will be steering clear of him in the near future. "You figured, if we were fighting, somebody would do something if somebody was choke slamming Justin Bieber. Nah, that’s my dog, I love him to death. That’s my big brother." Bieber then posted the above photo, mocking the media storm that followed the original.

Lowe also asks Post about his experience playing arenas, with the rapper saying, "I’m so blessed that he chose me to be on this tour and I’m so blessed that I’m able to get this opportunity to turn up with my friends and run around the country and play music."

Seems like Choke-gate was much ado about nothing then, with Post's call-in just below. The Purpose tour hits St. Louis next on April 19, with Post Malone expected to drop new music before then (see further down).
