Record Store Day is comparable to Christmas for vinyl collectors. Albums from the past to present get special releases and the reissue treatment with the latest being Mobb Deep's The Infamous.

On Saturday (April 16), the official celebration for Record Store Day, Mobb Deep's breakthrough album will be available for the first time on 180 gram, translucent blue and orange vinyl at record stores worldwide. Tracks like "Eye for a Eye (Your Beef Is Mines)" featuring Nas and Raekwon, "Up North Trip," "Shook Ones Pt. II" and "Drink Away the Pain" with Q-Tip will serve as a trip down hip-hop memory lane straight to Queens where Prodigy and Havoc crafted the LP in the '90s.

The vinyl is limited to 2,000 copies so make sure to cop the All City Records reissue on Amazon or Discogs before it disappears. To celebrate the 21st anniversary of The Infamous, All City Music teams up with the Beat Junkies' J-Rocc for a special mix of songs and samples that make up the LP. Listen to the Mobb Deep mix here.

Record Store Day was conceived in 2007, as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the nearly 1,400 independently owned record stores in the U.S. Other rap releases available for Record Store Day include The D.O.C.'s No One Can Do It Better, J Dilla's The Diary, Kevin Gates's Islah, Lil Wayne, Tha Carter and The Notorious B.I.G., “Mo Money, Mo Problems” 12.″
