Breakout MC and Little Rock, Ark. native Kari Faux drops her debut album Lost En Los Angeles today via Wolf & Rothstein with distribution by ADA. The LP is available now on iTunes and across streaming platforms .Lost En Los Angeles features the singles “Supplier” and “This Right Here.”

“During the creation of this album I was living in Los Angeles and being introduced to tons of new music and sounds,” said Kari Faux. “My producer, Black Party, and myself took our influence from those sounds and used live instruments to interpret them into something fun and new. We just had fun and made music we would want to listen to.”

Faux, born Kari Johnson, grew up in Little Rock, Ark. and adopted the “Faux” moniker after realizing she could turn people’s misperceptions into a positive. During the summer of 2014, Kari dropped “No Small Talk” and garnered the attention of Childish Gambino. Bino wold later take the budding spitta under his wing and re-releasing the song. Soon after Kari Faux would move to L.A.

Fans of Kari will have the opportunity to see her perform live. In the next couple of months she will be traveling to select cities in the US. This month she will be performing in Los Angeles on April 19 at El Rey Theatre alongside AlunaGeorge and in New York at SOB’s on April 28.
