Rumors popped up earlier this week that Fetty Wap got his chain snatched, so the New Jersey native decided he finally needed to address those rumors today (April 6). Fetty took to Twitter to post a video that proves his chain is still in his possession.

"I don't really do the little rumors shit, had to address some shit," Fetty Wap says as he films his chain. "N---as keeping talking they go Zoovie Zoo's chain, man. You got my chain? Tell me where you get my chain? Show me where you got my shit from? Cause y'all motherfuckers is frauding. You fraud ass n---as, man. Where the fuck did you get Zoovie's chain from? You do not have my fucking chain. Stop your shenanigans. Stop fucking lying."

The entire rumor began when an Instagram user named Louie Tha G posted a picture of a diamond-encrusted RGF Island chain. A caption for the since deleted post said, "We just want $10k or summin." Fetty Wap was also tagged in the post.

The user tried to clarify that they did not snatch the chain, but somehow got their hands on it.

"We ain’t take it!” he said. “We just got it back and we tryna give it back! Come scream at me Fetty Wap."

While it appears that this was all a big farce, Fetty Wap was clearly being bothered enough by the chain snatching claims to address them. Now, the "Trap Queen" artist can move on from it all.
