Drake Taunts Indiana Pacers’ Rodney Stuckey During Toronto Raptors Game

The rap world may have its eyes on Drake, the release of Views From the 6 just a few days away, but Drizzy's attention is on another prize, namely an NBA Championship. In order for his Toronto Raptors to experience the summit of NBA glory, they need to vanquish Paul George and the Indiana Pacers, who visited the Air Canada Centre Tuesday night (April 27) tied in their first round matchup with the Raptors at two games a piece.

Through three quarters, it was looking like that Raptors would fall again at home, but the 6 God, sporting an all black sweatsuit, couldn't stand idly by as his squad outscored the Pacers 25 to nine in the fourth quarter to take home the W and a series lead. Credit perhaps DeMar DeRozan's 34 points for the turnaround, but don't overlook a pivotal fourth quarter sequence in which Drake, who is typically out of his seat and animated, not only has a Pacer crash into him, but then taunts said player immediately afterward.

The Pacers had a 92-87 lead with seven minutes left in the game when Rodney Stuckey loses his dribble and nearly falls on top of Drake in an attempt to recover the ball. The play results in a turnover, for which Drake then follows Stuckey, applauding his error rather voraciously. The taunt is reminiscent of a game from earlier in the season in which Drake caused a Chicago Bulls turnover by chirping into Justin Holiday's ear during an in-bounds play.

The Raptors and Pacers will play next on Friday (April 29) in Indiana where the Raptors can close out the series. Views drops that same day.
