Drake premiered a new version of "Pop Style" (the single he released earlier this week) on OVO Sound Radio today (April 9), and you can listen to it below.

The original featured Jay Z and Kanye West, but this new version seems to be without them, instead replaced by a new Drake verse. He also recites the couple lines Hov said before diving into his own part.

Oliver El-Khatib, Drake's business associate, played the song at the end of his mix for OVO Sound Radio, where the album's release date of April 29 was announced at the start of the show. Oliver played a bunch of island music, leading up to a couple plays of Drake's new single "One Dance."

"Pop Style," while initially a shock due to the magnitude of the collab, wasn't received quite as well as "One Dance" was. Perhaps this is Drake's way of trying to mend that difference. Nonetheless, "One Dance" has a lot of potential, and it's not even clear whether they'll both be on the final version of Views From the 6.

There have, however, been rumors that the new album will be a double disc, and that theory might be supported by the album art for both singles. "Pop Style" is black, matching the dark sound of the song, while "One Dance" is a much lighter track, thus the white cover. Many think there'll be a Black and White disc of the album, perhaps split between sounds or moods. We'll just have to wait and see.
