DMX has a reputation of being one of the hardest rappers in the game. The gravel-voiced, rough talking MC was undoubtedly a pillar of New York hip-hop in the late '90s. And yet, the "X Gon' Give It To Ya" rapper just can't seem to come to terms with the latest and greatest apps in social media buffoonery.

Snapchat's latest update gives two users the ability to swap faces with a filter. When the X's goddaughter, actress Paige Hurd (Everybody Hates Chris), wanted to show her godfather the new feature, X was not having it. Check out how thoroughly freaked out X is by seeing his God daughter's face swapped with his own and how fast he tries to get out of the camera frame in the video above.

Even as Paige tries to rap DMX's verse from his 1999 single "What These Bitches Want," X can't help but cringe at the screen. The whole video, though scary for the rap star, is pretty hilarious for the viewer.

Snapchat has become the go-to social media for rappers to slyly preview music and give fans a taste of their everyday life. In the past few months, Chance The Rapper has previewed snippets of his upcoming third mixtape. It recently surfaced that Drake has been doing the same thing to promote his upcoming album Views from the 6. And 300 Entertainment CEO Lyor Cohen previewed Young Thug's Slime Season 3 tape on his Snapchat before it dropped. But even though rap's contemporaries are having fun with the new bells and whistles in social media, X definitely ain't with the wave.
